The school organised its Annual Athletic Meet for the senior wing i.e. classes VIII to X on July 28, 2010. The chief Guest Mr. Suresh Bhardwaj, Corporator, Ashok Vihar, unfurled the school flag and motivated students with his sheer presence and active involvement. The students took oath of honesty and fair play in all sports. The students also entertained the audience with a mesmerizing Welcome song and Dance show. The athletes of Aadharshila undoubtedly displayed their unbeatable talent, team work and running capabilities. A neck to neck battle was observed in the flat race. Sack race, Lame leg race and shuttle run race were the other highlights of the event. Winners were felicitated with medals and participation certificates.

The junior Aadharshilans enjoyed  the Athletic Spirit by organizing a zealous Athletic Meet on 23.07.2010 for the students of Class V. Teachers and students along with the Physical education faculty prepared a gaily synchronized playground. The Ball Race, Flat Race, Garland Race and Obstacle Race along with the teacher’s race were the attractions of the Meet. The event was graced by the reverened guests  Ms. Rekha Sharma Corporator , Pitampura and Mr. Basu , Cancellor. The honourable guest and students had an exuberating time at the Athletic Meet. The true Aadharshilians performed remarkably with sheer confidence and excitement. The event went off well with the felicitation of the winners and participation certificates for all the junior pearls.

Schools are power places to shape the health, education and well-being of our children. That is why the school, organised HEALTHY FOOD WEEK from July 19, 2010 to July 23, 2010 for class I, II & III. Healthy students are better able to concentrate on their work, attend school on a regular basis and perform better in class. The week provided an excellent platform to promote the benefits and importance of healthy eating to young children. They enthusiastically made posters on healthy food. Students were asked to bring healthy food of specific colour everyday as per the MENU designed for them. A colourful fancy dress competition displaying students in various healthy food items brought the week to an end. It was a well applauded effort by the school to impart value of healthy food among students. 

One of the most important events of the school – the Investiture ceremony, a traditional feature , was organised by the school on July 19, 2010. The function began with the introduction of the school office – bearers and  how the one desired to help the school administration, by fulfilling his duties. The sashes and the school and house flags were handed over to the respective office bearers. The solemn oath-taking ceremony took place followed by pining of badges of respective offices on the shoulders of office bearers. Donning the stage they pledged to give the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. This ceremony reminded students of the trust and confidence that the school repose in its newly appointed office bearers, The School Prefect, Vice Prefect, The House Captains, Vice Captains, Class Monitors And Captains.

The young Adaharshilians were all charged up with the spirit of competition and sportsmanship when the school organized the Athletic meet on July 22, 2010 for class IV. Students sported the colour of unity and pride as well as showcased their sporting talent. The students took part in various races like Frog Race, Lemon Race and Garland Race. The  meet winded up with a medal distribution ceremony by the Chief Guest of the event Dr. Ashok Singh , Reader IGI PESS (Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Sciences, Delhi University.
