| Interaction with our culture |
Apart from celebration of traditional festivals
like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Holi Janamashtmi,
Rakhi, Id, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas and Teachers Day in the
school premises, innovative themes have been devised to provide
newness and variety. Mock Friday Bazaar, Post Office, Magic
Shows are organized in which students manage the counters besides
acting as customers.
Night camps are also held, where students-incuding the toddlers
of K.G.- stay overnight in the school and are even taught to
manage their daily chores independently. |

Apart from these, Annual
Function ‘Melisma’- A cultural Evening and
Sports Meet are regular yearly features which have been
graced by eminent personalities from different walk of
life. |

The
school also organizes an all India painting competition
on 25th December on the occasion of X-mas and the birthday
of our former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari
Vajpayee.

the food of love, play on’, said the great Shakespeare.
At Aadharshila, conscious accent is being laid on music
and every student in encouraged to learn dance & drama
and find self –expression through them. Singing
in chorus forms a part of the regular routine. The objective
is to open up students minds to the basic element that
act as sustaining forces in life. |

| Nature as ‘Guru’ |
| The great outdoors,
not only hold special fascination for the children, but
also act the ‘Gurukuls’ of
yore were essentially outdoor teaching experiences, bringing
children closer to nature. Thus, at Aadharshila, special
emphasis is laid on sports, visits to zoo, excursions
to Village Haveli and other outdoor activites. |

| Moral Education: Nourishing
the roots for a positive personality |

If the basic purpose of education
is to make oneself a better person, a proper emphasis
on social and moral values becomes imperative. To inculcate
such value, respect for religion is being instilled among
children with a Morning Prayer, and namaskar to Bhagwan,
forming a part of the routine. Havan ceremony is also
organized with proper rituals from time to time. |
