Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura lays strong emphasis on developing healthy competitive spirit among its young students. In the same vein a number of Inter House competitions were organised in the month of April 2016.An Inter House Jute Bag Decoration Competition was held on 25.04.2016 in which the students of classes VIII-X displayed their creativity decorating the jute bags with acrylic colours and other materials. Upasana House bagged the first position followed by Samarpan House and Tapasya House respectively.

Another one was Inter House Salad Making Competition held on 29.04.2016 for students of classes III-V.Each team comprised of 4 participants who created beautiful displays of salads with vegetables, fruits and sprouts. These flavourful salads were a feast for both eyes and tongue. The winning house was Vishwas followed by Tapasya and Sankalp houses.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised Day Camp-Sun ‘n’ Swings for the students of classes Pre School to II on 29 and 30 April 2016 wherein the tiny-tots got an opportunity to indulge in fun filled and adventurous activities. The students were welcomed at the School gate with music, tilak and the cartoon character Doraemon. Students enjoyed aerobics, dancing, bouncy ball-pool, caterpillar ride, swings and water games. The movie-show ‘Jungle Book’ was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. Sumptuous meals and dessert were relished by the students to the fullest. Students departed with loads of happy memories.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura celebrated the ‘Sanskrit and German Week’ from 24 August to 01 September 2015. Various Special Assemblies organized were on the topics-Globalization and learning German, Role of Sanskrit in our daily life, some facts about Germany, National Anthem of Germany was also rendered by class VIII students. Students enthusiastically participated in the class activities which included making German cakes, milk shakes, salads and some more easy cuisines of Germany. The movie “Die Furchtlosen Vier” (The Fearless Four) was screened for the students of VI-VIII. Students of class IX did a comparative analysis of the cultures of India and Germany. Sanskrit Essay Writing competition was also organized for the students of IX and X classes.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura held a Career Counselling Workshop for the students of classes XI and XII on 05 May 2016 in the School auditorium. The resource person Mr. Ajit Banerjee defined the word ‘career’ for the students and underlined the need of knowing oneself thoroughly before deciding upon a career. He also deciphered the seats availability and competition to be faced, for the students. It was an interactive session wherein the students were questioned upon their reasons for choosing a career. Many students also discussed their personal dilemmas later on in the open house segment of the workshop.


The Board Result of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura was a thumping success that stamped the diligence and persistence of the students and faculty alike. The School toppers are Aditya Jain(Science Stream) with 96.8% aggregate and Chhavi Jain, Pranav Oswal and Shagun Bhasin (all three from Commerce Stream) with 95.6% aggregate. The highest score in Physics and Informatics Practices is 99,in Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Accountancy is 98,in Math is 96 and in English and Business Studies is 95.43% of Science students and 37% of Commerce students scored an aggregate percentage of 90% and above. Each year the Aadharshilians are bettering the previous result and scaling newer heights.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura ushered in the new Academic Session 2016-17 with the age old tradition of the Hawans which were organized to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. These  hawans were held on 07, 08 and 11 April 2016 for the students of the primary and middle and senior Schools. The auspicious flames of the hawans have commenced the new session with vigour and vitality and the entire aura of the school holds the promise of a fruitful year ahead.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura, organised its Annual Show-‘Anugoonj-2016’ in the School Auditorium on Saturday,01 October 2016.The students of classes Preschool, Pre-Primary, I and II sparkled on the stage in their costumes and mesmerised the audience with their poise and panache. The Invocation Dance was followed by Welcome Song wherein the children showed their gratitude towards their parents. A patriotic presentation ‘Hindustan ki Kasam’ and ‘Natkhat Nandlala’ stole everybody’s heart. The English skit ‘The Jungle Book’ and foot tapping ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ set the parents singing along. A thought provoking skit ‘Jal hi Jeevan hai’ carried the strong social message of conserving water. The beauty of our cultural heritage was displayed through the item ‘Folk mania’. The chief guest of the evening Shri Amir Raza Husain ji, an eminent theatre and film personality whole heartedly praised the efforts of the students and teachers and congratulated the School on carrying out the task of educating students into model denizens of India. The show concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised picnics for students of classes Pre-School, Pre-Primary and I to Gurudwara Nanak Piao on 8 and 12 of July 2016 respectively.

The students were showed the ‘piao’ for which this gurudwara is famous along with the main Darbar Sahibji and langar hall. They also received the ‘langar’ of ‘rajma-chawal’. The tiny-tots were also made to realize the importance of covering their heads in places of worship. The students returned to School enriched and blessed.


The members of the Students’ Council of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura, were invested with their duties and powers in a graceful Investiture Ceremony held on 15 July 2016, Friday in front of the entire student body of the School. The ceremony commenced with the invocation of the blessings of Almighty through a prayer song followed by the School Song. The council members were called upon the stage and were handed over their badges and sashes. The oath was presided over by the School Principal who also delivered a motivating speech focussing upon the value of respect and trust that is a part and parcel of any position and how one can face challenges where his/her actions will determine whether he/she retains that trust or loses it. Short speeches of acceptance were delivered by Head Boy and Head Girl also, thanking their alma mater for conferring this highest honour for any student during his/her School life.

The ceremony concluded with all rising up for the National Anthem. This was followed by a customary photo-session of the Student Council with the School Principal.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura organised ‘Hawans’ in the School premise as a symbol of seeking divine blessings on the reopening of the School after the Summer Vacations.The Hawans were organised on 11.07.2016 for classes PreSchool,Pre-Primary & I, on 12.07.2016 for classes II-V and on 13.07.2016 VI-XII.

The students and teachers chanted the ‘gayatri mantra’ and invoked the blessings of the almighty through the ‘aahutis’.The ‘prasad’ was distributed to all present in the School.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised a day camp ‘Bubblee Bubbles’ for the students of classes III-V on Saturday,07 May 2016.The anticipation and excitement of the day were palpable in the air .The day commenced with aerobics session followed by a fashion show. Students enjoyed ‘Bull Ride’ and ‘Pyramid’ climbing besides games like hit-the-target, catch-me-if-you-can. A movie screening ‘Jungle Book’ was also held in the auditorium. Students enjoyed meals and refreshments throughout the day at regular intervals.

Excursion to Pratapgarh Farms

The students of classes IX to XII of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura enjoyed a memorable excursion to Pratapgarh Farms,Jhajjar on 18 January 2017.This excursion was much looked forward to for the ethnic experience that the Farms have to offer.The students enjoyed various rides viz. camel ride,bullock-cart and tractor rides and so on.The activities like pottery making,kite-flying,henna and ‘pitthoo’ playing were very enthusiastically participated in.Then there were the farmlands with seasonal crops sown and the students were briefed upon farming techniques and procedures.

Adventure activities were also enjoyed thoroughly by the more energetic and outgoing students.A special attraction ‘Nakshatra Vatika’ was attractive in the light that it had trees according to the astrological ‘rashis’.Sumptuous traditional meals kept the students going throughout the day. 

Math Expo-2016

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura organised the Maths Week in the period between 22-27 August 2016.A special assembly on the ‘History of Pi’ was organised on 22 August 2016 for the students of VI-XII by the members of the Convergence Club. An Inter-House Math Quiz for classes III-V students was organised on 23 August 2016.The Quiz consisted of a Problem Solving,a Rapid Fire and a Visual Rounds.Another special assembly on ‘Depicting Angles through Yog Aasanas’ was held on 26 August 2016.It was a beautiful and innovative assembly in which the students of VI-XII performed Yog Aasanas.


The week also had Math Crossword Activity (III-V),Inter-House Poster Making on ‘Math and Humour’ (VI-VIII) and Inter-House Math Brochure Making (IX-X) Competitions which saw enthusiastic participation of students.The week culminated in a beautiful Math Exhibition-‘Math Expo-2016’ which was organised on 26 and 27 August 2016.The students displayed models on various mathematical concepts and enthusiastically explained their displays to the delight of the guests and visitors.It was indeed an enlightening week for all the math aficionados. 

Experiential LearningExperiential Learning

The students of classes I to VIII of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura enjoyed a day of experiential learning at ‘Kidzania’,NOIDA on 23 January 2017.This is an indoor edu-tainment theme park aimed at understanding the real life role-playing adventures.The students enjoyed 90+ activities with the main aim of learning-by-doing.The working of Banks,Hospital,Petrol-pump,Fire station,Dentist and so on were understood by the students with the help of instructors.

The entourage also enjoyed breakfast and meals during the day.

It was an exhilterating experience for all the students,with the day made more memorable through the photographs. 


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura, Delhi along with Kho-Kho Federation of India hosted the Third and decisive match in the tri-match India-England Kho-Kho Test Match Series on Saturday, 04 February 2017.


The event was a step ahead for the promotion and encouragement of Kho-Kho beyond the boundaries of the Indian sub-continent. The India and England Teams were welcomed at the School gate by the resplendent students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth with tilak, garlands and rose-buds.


The chief guest of the day Shri Vijay Goel Ji, Minister of State for Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports graced the occasion along with Shri Rajeev Mehta ji, General Secretary IOA and President KKFI.


The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting followed by the introduction of the two teams with the chief guest. Subsequently, the formal declaration of the starting of the match was done by the Chief Guest with the release of balloons in the colours of both the countries. A beautiful yoga and skills display demonstration was carried out at half time to the enchantment of the entire audience which comprised of all the students of the School, the Kho-Kho fraternity and many more students and players from colleges. The excitement of the day reached its crescendo with the final whistle of the match which saw India team winner and the visiting English team runner ups.


The Chief Guest Shri Vijay Goel Ji appreciated the efforts of the School and the Kho-Kho Federation of India towards promoting the sport and reminisized about his own school days when he himself was an ardent Kho-Kho player. Shri Rajeev Mehta ji on behalf of the Kho-Kho fraternity thanked Shri Vijay Goel ji and the host school for having organized the event beautifully.


Shri Brij Haldania, President, Kho-Kho federation of England and all the team England player expressed their gratitude towards the hosts and were overwhelmed with the hospitality. He also looks forward to the Sport of  Kho-Kho taking roots in many more countries of Europe. All the dignitaries were felicitated with mementos and ties along with shawls and India flag badges.


All around the waving India and England flags spelled of a beautiful day that strengthened the ties between the two countries.



Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura hosted Aadharshila Annual InterSchool Judo Tournament-2016 in the School on 14 and 15 May 2016 for Girls and Boys respectively. The event witnessed a huge participation of judokas in all the categories of age and weight. The students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth participated in U-8,U-10,U-12,U-14 and U-17 in both Girls and Boys categories and won I,II and III positions in a number of weight categories in U-8,U-10,U-12,U-14 and U-17 Girls categories and U-8,U-10,U-14 and U-17 Boys categories. It was a tremendously lively tournament.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated Hindi Week from 06 to 10 February .Some of the special assemblies conducted in the week were on Hindi Diwas(06 February 2017,classes VI-X) and ‘Bhasha ke Mazedar Prayog(07 February 2017,classes III-V).Students also enjoyed a quiz on Hindi Literature on 10 February 2017 during the assembly.The interhouse competitions held during the week included Hindi Pragraph Writing(Classes III-V),Hasya Kavita Vachan(Classes III-V),Hindi Debate Competition(Classes VI-X).The topic of the competition was ‘Nari ka naukari karna uchit/anuchit’ and the students expressed themselves forcefully.The Hindi Week,as always remains an earnest effort to establish a flair for the mother tongue among young students. 

Farewell to Thee


The students of classes XII session 2016-17 were fared well in a beautiful and graceful ceremony hosted by Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura on 21 January 2017,Saturday.

The class XII students entered the School gate looking dapper and graceful.The event commenced with the formal lighting of the ceremonial lamp and speech by the School Principal followed by a soulful presentation ‘School Days-A musical memoir’ by the students of class XI.The other presentations were ‘Tribute to Govinda’,’Still Dance’,‘Musical Medley’ and bhangra.The outgoing students were presented with mementos and titles.The class XII students also shared their emotions through poems,speeches and dances.The deserving students were conferred with the titles of Mr.,Miss and Gem of Aadharshila.The glittering ceremony also saw the outgoing students sashay down the stage for a ramp walk.The ceremony was followed by lunch enjoyed by all.

HURRAH! CLASS X (2015-16)

The class X (2015-16) students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura recorded a 100% result. A perfect 10 CGPA was scored by 07 students.

27.8% students scored a CGPA between 10-9.0.

22.2% students scored a 10 GP in English,15.3% in Hindi,18.1% in Math,13.9% in Science and 16.7% in Social Science.

The young scholars have proved yet again that diligence and appropriate pedagogy is what it takes to achieve success in academics.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated the creation Week-2016-2017 during 06 to 11 February 2017.This week encompasses the competitions and various other activities related to arts and crafts.An interhouse abstract painting competition(classes IX-X) was held on 06 February 2017 and the students displayed their artistic skills to the fullest.Other interhouse competitions include Quilling Art Competition(Classes IV-V).A special assembly on ‘Folk Arts of India’ was conducted on 09 February 2017 by classes III-V.The week culminated in a beautiful Art Exhibition ‘Expressions-2016-2017’ on 10 and 11 February 2017 in the School Auditorium.The arts and crafts displays were truly creative and garnered much appreciation from the visitors.Some of the exhibits were made by recycling newspapers,disposable plates and spoon,icecream sticks,cold drink bottles and what not.The exhibition saw heavy attendance of the parents.
