The social media is an addictive drug that does more harm than good. Trolling, bullying, and other forms of harassing people online has become rampant. In order to bring about awareness in the young children, Cyber Week was observed in the school from 12 November to 16 November 2018. Young Aadharshilians were apprised about the latest preventive measures to be taken for safeguarding personal data and avoid hacking of important files etc. Students of Class VII explained the multifarious methods of keeping the data safe from online hackers. The students were warned against Cyber Attacks by applying Cyber Safety measures. They were cautioned against sharing their personal details like phone numbers, address etc. online.  The students were warned against opening any unknown file especially Spam folders. The young Computer Wizards of classes VI-VIII went a step further when they created beautiful and stunning Animations on FLASH while ClassIX-X raised the bar by participating in IMAGE EDITING using PHOTOSHOP on the 15th of November 2018.

All in all it was a week filled with innovation and practical learning. It is these small endeavours which enables children to keep pace with the fast moving world of computers.

Festivities Galore at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth

The chilly winds coupled with the soothing rays of the sun was a clear indication that Gods and Goddesses were showering their blessings on Aadharshilians as the whole school assembled for the Diwali celebration, on 6th November 2018. Excited children clapped and sung ‘Bhajans’ soaked in piousness and piety. Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi were garlanded by the children and then ‘diyas’ and candles were lit on this festive occasion.The staff too offered their obeisance as they participated in the ‘Aarti’ and Bhajans. Children of classes X and XII were specially beckoned to seek God’s blessings for their CBSE Boards 2018-2019.There was devoutness in the air as the children went to their classes to gear up for the RangoliCompetition. Children participants from all classes from middle and senior school represented their houses and moved to their respective venues. Environment friendly rangolis, using flowers saw-dust etc. were  made. The young artistes drew beautiful designs like peacocks, Ganesha, ‘kalasha’ to vent their creativity with precision. The school was adorned and Diwali ready.

Navratri’ Celebration at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth

 Spirit soar in the month of October as its Navratri Time and a clarion for the most awaited festival- ‘the festival of lights Deepavali’ The period of Holy Fasting started from 10th October till 18th October 2018. The school was adorned like a beautiful bride and everyday Pooja alongwith a kirtan ceremony was organized. The staff and students paid regular visits to ‘Mata KaDarbar’ and Prasad was distributed to all. It gave the students a spiritual bent of mind and then it became a routine for them. The celebration concluded on Ram Navmi day when a Havan was organized in the precincts of the school and staff and students sought blessings from ‘MaaDurga. Such experiences are invigorating and make the children aware of our mythology and religion alike.

Towards a contented, Spiritual Life

‘Equanimity’ is an overrated term in this era of high voltage drama and hypocrisy. Humans have indulged in a sedentary lifestyle and are driven by a performance hungry world. We have all become parts of the rat-race for money, power and influence so much so that we have lost touch with our inner self. In order to relate to our lifeemphatically with all its Ps and Qs, a workshop on Life Skills was conducted at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth on 17 October, 2018for classes IX-XII.  The session took off to a colourful start with the spokespersonadvising the students on taking a proper and well-balanced diet, and emphasized on eating nuts, spinach and Omega-3 rich foods. He warned the children against eating junk food and suggested replacing them with low calorie food.

The latter half of the session was taken up by another motivator, who emphasized on the Happiness Quotient & Spiritual Quotient which makes us better individuals. The children enjoyed the easy-to-do exercises suggested by him which can be done anywhere, anytime. The prominent Do-It-Yourself’s were liked by students and staff alike. The programme concluded with a short meditation. It came like a lease of fresh air, infusing happiness in our system.

‘Hindi Mein Hi Bhawna’(Hindi Week)

We may have mastered the English Language still our best emotions find better expression only in Hindi. Our National Language gives us our Identity. Inkeeping with the rich legacy and literary works, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth observed the Hindi Week from8th  October to 12th October 2018. Monday Blues were replaced by the euphoric feelings of the children and excitement reached a new high on 8th October as classes, III- V fought neck-to-neck for the Inter-House ‘HasyaKavita’ competition with the different houses vying for the First Position. The judges appreciated the quirky and rib-tickling poems presented by students of different houses.

Apart from this, the primary wing(classes III-) participated in an Inter-House ‘KahaniLekhan’ Competition on 10th October 2018 for which topics were given on-the-spot. The student participants adorned their creative caps and put their invigorated words to pen down some interesting stories. The competitors fought tooth-and-nail for their respective houses.

Classes VI-VIII held an innovative class activity in Hindi to promote the use and feel of Hindi Language. On the 8th October 2018 ‘Vishnu’s Dashaavtara’ was depicted in pictorial form by students of class VI accompanied by a write up. Children put inconcerted efforts to bring alive Lord Vishnu’s different incarnations and expressed true, pious feelings in short paragraphs. Their colourful pictures and innocent obeisance found expression in their national language.

On 8th October class VII wasn’t far behind- ‘The Literacy Mission’ was depicted in colourful advertisements along with the posters on Vaccination of children- the two quintessential concerns of  theModi Government. Children used their genius while depicting the essence of these campaigns in a creative manner.

Class VIII went a step further as they took up a very prominent & sentimental aspect of schooling - Poet Laureate Bharat Ratna Shri R. N. Tagore’s spiritually uplifting school of thought- Shanti Niketan as a subject of research for their class projects.

Class IX participated in a class activity on 11th October 2018 when they donned on correspondents’ garb and took an interview with a Solider. They paid a tribute to the vanguards of not only India’s frontiers but also of its invaluable citizens alike especially in times of national insurgencies. Their contribution to society too, is precious and invaluable.

Zonals Folk Dance Competition at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth

It was a great honour and our proud privilege, here at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, to host the Zonal Folk Dance Competition on 31 August 2018. All the premier schools of the North West Zone- XI sent their teams in colorful attire along with the well-crafted props and a wide Variety of musical instruments.

A Kaleidoscopic view of folk lore accompanied by typical dances stole the hearts of the audience. From Bihu to Chhattisgarhi dance each province presented a soulful display of talent. The entire gamut of dances kept the audience in a trance. Amidst ear deafening applause Rukmini Devi Public School was adjudged ‘The Best Team’ for the Winning Trophy by the judges Ms. Sulbha Arora, the Cultural Secretary and Pusha Ratnam the Organising secretary. Occasions like these surely will be etched in our memories for a long time.


Language is the utterance of the soul. Sanskrit and German languages add a Midas’ touch when coupled with Creative Literary activities. The German/Sanskrit Week was celebrated in Aadharshila Vidyapeeth from 27th -31st August 2018 amid gaiety and glitz. The creativity of kids found a new high when children of the Middle School and Senior School enthusiastically participated in an array of activities ranging from Character Portrayal, Enactments, Story Weaving and Shloka Recitation. The rapt audience relished the delectable taste of both German and Sanskrit Language. Such opportunities are clarion call to boost the morale of the young learners and propels them in this perfection inclined world. These activities (Special Assemblies) are sure to go down the annals of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth for acons.

Maths Exhibition-Maths Expo,Anchor2018

“Maths is addictive and relished by many people. It happens to be a favourite subject of almost all pupils & enviable too!”

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized the Maths Exhibition-Maths Expo, 2018 on Friday 24, August 2018 and Saturday, 25 August 2018 in the School premises. Multidinous Aadharshilians participated in the Exhibition and evinced their skilfulness and virtuosity through phenomenal exhibits which portrayed diversified concepts of Maths like Arithmetic Progression, Tessellation, and Mathematics in Space etc. The little Aryabhattasof  classes III-V also demonstrated their Mathematical skills and dexterity through an array of exhibits and games like BODMAS Machine, currency Tree, Multiplication Calculator, Fraction kitchen, Luck Factor Game etc. which were acknowledged and acclaimed by all visitors.Certificates of merit were conferred on the students for the best ranked models. This two days event acted as a medium for bringing forth the éclat and reasoning skills of the students.


Picnics are stress busters. They come like a leas of fresh air, breaking the monotony of daily routine work. In keeping with the tradition, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized a picnic to Kidzania on Saturday,11 August 2018 for the students of classes III- V. This picnic acted as a modus operandi in empowering the energy of the kids by providing them a hiatus in their monotonous schedule. On caching Kidzania,all the kids were distributed 50 kidzos to disburse on the activities they wanted to enjoy. The animated kids donned different hats and earned morekidzos. The vivacious Aadharshilians were in their element while playing roles as chefs,dentists,and surgeons,pilots(fire brigades and many more).They learnt hands on experience of earning money and saving it for the future use.The animated kids had a whale of time throughout the day.The dynamic Aadharshilians grabbed the opportunity to assimilate the qualities of Self-reliance and Dignity of Labour.The tiny tots feasted on mouth-watering lunch. The picnic was a more fun than a fun barrel of sand &oysters.


“Fun is Synonymous to learning with zest”

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized a picnic to the Worlds of Wonder on Friday,10 August 2018 for the students of classes VI-XII. The enthusiastic Aadharshilians boarded the buses with great ardour and had jollification throughout the way to WOW. After alighting from the buses, the students feasted on scrumptious breakfast and headed towards the Water Park wherein they were exhilarated and revitalized in the splashes of water. They were engrossed in the water rides like Riptide,Rip Curl etc. Their ecstasy and exuberance knew no bounds in the Wave Pool wherein the gleeful Aadharshilians undulated with lost themselves in the ripples of water. After an exultant and delightful experience of getting drenched session, the students savoured delectable lunch. Then set out for an additional merry making session in the Amusement Park. They had an adrelin rush and their cuptioric cries rent the air when they enjoyed their rides like Fast Forward, Free Fall,Mega Disk,Twister etc. The zealous Aadharshilians danced to the foot tapping music on the D.J. Floor and left the venue after relishing toothsome ice cream. It was a rip-roaring day for the young Aadharshilians, and the will store it in the core of their hearts.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized Special Assembly on ‘World Population Day’ on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 for the students of classes VI-XII wherein a student intonated a fervent poem to highlight the aftermaths of increasing population on the growth and development of the country.Through a thought –provoking conversation , young Aadharshilians brought into spotlight how pernicious effects of increasing population halt the progress of the country.

A Special Assembly was conducted on ‘ Peace and Development’ on Monday, 16 July 2018 for classes VI-XII.Through an intriguving skit,the students manifested the deleterious impact of nuclear weapons on peace and harmony of the world.A student recited compendious poem to emphasize the benefaction of Science for peace and development in the whole world.

A Special Assembly was organized on ‘Flora and Fauna’ on Tuesday, 17 July 2018 wherein ardent Aadharshilians of classes II-V eneacted an elegant skit to forge cognizance about saving flora and  fauna.A graceful dance presented by tiny tots was an embodiment of the message of significance and exigency of safeguarding the diverse flora and fauna.

A Special Assembly was presented on  ‘The Great Indian Scientist- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’ on Wednesday ,18 July 2018 by the students of classes VI-XII. Through a succinit speech and a fervid poem everyone was acquainted  to the life and accomplishments of the missile man,Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam .The zealous Aadharshilians conferred the message of deriving brilliance from Dr. Kalam’s life.

A Special Assembly was presented on ‘Rivers of India’ on Thursday , 19 July 2018 by the students of classes II-V. The tiny tots personified themselves as four significantrivers of India and brought into limelight the deteriorated condition of the rivers of India.They also proliferated the message of hoarding the paramount source of water i.e. the Indian rivers.

A Special Assembly was conducted on ‘ Space Technology’ on Friday, 20 July 2018 the students of classes VI-XII wherein the students vouchsafed significant facts about space and familiarized everyone to the eminence of technologyin varied domains of life and how technology has altered the space.

Monsoon Carnival

Rains are always welcome, and so also Monsoon Mania especially for our little pixies who enjoyed dancing and drench getting in rain. To give them a magical feel, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized Monsoon Carnival for the students of classes PS-V on Friday, 27 July 2018. The students were happily received by the teachers. The school premises was embellished with resplendent umbrellas which enthralled the students and fastened an ambience of Monsoons in the school premises. Students’ vibrant demeanour couldn’t euphoria. Their ecstasy knew no bounds when they enjoyed aerobics and Zumba in the natural drizzle. Afterwards, the gleeful Aadharshilians relished a scrumptious breakfast .They rejoiced playing fun games like Tambola and Musical chairs and triumphantly gave a mind boggling performance in Fashion Show and Talent Hunt.The conquistador enthusiasts were beautified with tiaras and sash. Rain dance was the cynosure of the event.The delighted kids savoured delicious lunch.Take away gifts for the dayand ‘Thank You’ Cards intrigued the blissful Aadharshilians. The day was full of jubilance and exhilaration and the children would carry fond memories home.

Science Exhibition,We-Gyaan,2018

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized Science Exhibition;‘We Gyaan -2018’ on Friday,20 July 2018  and Saturday,21 July 2018 in the precincts of school.This two-day scientific observance imbued the school premises with cognitive ambience. Students demonstrated scientific temper and creative skills through multitudinous models like 3-D Projector ,Hydraulic Crane, Tesla Coil and Scientific games like Balloon game, Pinball game, Hand Steadiness game that were on display. A Working model of UC-04 carwhich was based on bluetooth & programming language was the epitome of scientific fervour and served as a cynosure of all eyes. The Chief Guest extolled the dynamism showcased by young Aadharshilians.Multitude of parents elevated and applauded the avidity of students. This scientific endeavour honed the scientific temperament of students.


Science is been all around us whether its metaphysics, astronomy or Geography. Science is over whelming for one and all. To instill the codes of formulas and scientific favour in young Eiensteins, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth observed Science Week from Monday, 16 July 2018 to Saturday, 21 July 2018. The week comprised of Special Assemblies on Peace and Development (classes VI-XII), Flora and Fauna (classes II-V),The Great Indian Scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (classes VI-XII),Rivers of India (classes II-V) and Space Technology (classes VI-XII). Students accentuated the deleterious effects of nuclear weapons, primacy of technology, lordship of rivers & stewardship of flora and fauna through compendious speech, a succinit poem and an edifying skit and role play.  Interhouse Junior Scientist Competition was conducted on Monday 16 July 2018 wherein a student from each house (classes III-V) performed an experiment under the guardianship of Science teachers. Interhouse Science Quiz was conducted for classes VI-VIII on Tuesday, 17 July 2018 and for classes III-V on Wednesday,18 July 2018 through which scientific temperament of the students was scrutinized. InterhouseBulletein Board Competition was held on Thursday, 19 July 2018 wherein students manifested their artistry and avidity. Van Mahotsav Rally was also organized on Thursday, 19 July 2018 wherein students declaimed slogans on ‘Conservation of Environment’. It was followed by planting a sapling in the school premises. The week concluded with Science Exhibition - ‘We Gyaan,2018’ wherein students exhibited working models with great zeal and fervour. The school was abuzz with scientific activities throughout the whole week.


Self-mechanism is the best defence system when faced with threatening situations. Judo comes to the rescue of youngsters & adults. In keeping with the same tradition, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth became the enviable & arguably the best venue for the Zonal Judo Competition - 2018 from Monday, 16 July 2018 to Wednesday 18 July 2018 in the school auditorium for which the participating schools got their judokas registered and underwent weigh in session on Friday 13 July 2018. This three days event was a modus operandi for various schools to evince the hidden talents of their judokas. The students manifested varied skills in Judo under different weight and age categories. It was an ardous competition which explicated values like self- control, courtesy, courage and gratitude.

The Chief Guest marked the beginning of the competition by the auspicious Lamp Lighting ceremony. Afterwards the Chief Guest declaimed the motivational words and declared the event open. The competition aggrandized the defensive instinct and self esteem of the participants. The young judokas imbibed the benefits of disciplined practice and technique. The winners were felicitated with medals and certificates. Young judoists of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth laurels by winning seven championships under varied age and weight categories.

Investiture Ceremony

“Leadership is the capacity to translate a vision into a reality”

Upholding the same tradition, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized the Investiture Ceremony on Friday, 13 July 2018 amidst euphoria and ebullience.The event kickstarted with a zealous prayer and a promise of sincerity in everyone’s heart.  A council of members was elected and the elected students were accorded various titles like School Head Boy, School Head Girl, School Monitor,House Captains and Vice Captains and House Prefects.The newly appointed students council promised to shoulder new responsibilities with vigour and vivacity.All the elected students were conferred badges.The school Head Girl,VanshikaGoelof XII A and the school Head Boy, PulkitAsri of XII B were adornedwith a sash. They upheld the esteem of the school with an oath of spearheading new endeavours with elan.


“Mathematics is not about numbers ,equations ,competitions or algorithms :it is about understanding”

 Aadharshila Vidyapeeth observed Maths Week from Monday,20 August 2018 to Saturday,25 August 2018 for  classes III- XII. The week encompassed various Special Assemblies on “History of Pie” and “Vedic Maths” for classes VI-XII. The analytical Aadharshilians evinced edifying skits and enlightened everyone about the paramount facts related to “pie” i.e. its value, use and history etc. The students were also au fait with the indispensable aspects of “Vedic Maths” and its utilization in doing mathematical calculations effortlessly and explicitly. Inter House Maths Quiz for classes III- V and for VI-VIII was conducted on Monday,20 August 2018 and Tuesday,21 August 2018 respectively wherein the meticulous Aadharshilians exemplified reasoning and cognitive skills.An InterHouse “Maths Book Cover Design” Competition was also organized on Friday, 24 August 2018 for the students of classes III- V wherein the students illustrated their artistic knack by fabricating innovative book covers using mathematical figures and symbols. The Maths Week ended with the Maths Exhibition-Math Expo 2018 wherein the students demonstrated an amalgamation of their dexterity and craftsmanship through a variety of exhibits. It was a heuristic and well planned week.

Independence Day Celebration

“Let’s take a decision, to value our Nation,

Shall not forget those sacrifices,

Who gave us freedom,

Now it’s our turn to have a Reformation”

 Aadharshila Vidyapeeth celebrated 72nd Independence Day with gusto and patriotic fervour on  Monday , 13 August 2018 for classes Pre School - II  and Tuesday,  14 August 2018 for classes III - V and VI-XII. The school was imbued with patriotism and ambience of nationalism could be felt all around the school premises during the two days celebration. The school was exquisitely adorned with tricoloured balloons which escalated the radiance of the celebration. 100 % participation was put forth by the tiny tots  of classes Pre School – V with zeal and verve.Benign presence of the parents in the celebration (classes PS – V) uplifted the self -esteem of the Aadharshilians.The celebration(classes PS- V) commenced with the March Past followed by oath taking and rendition of the National Anthem.The celebration was glorified by the spectrum of events like Welcome Dance,Judo,Yoga, Aerobics, Skit wherein the students showcased patriotism and stress buster acts.The celebration ended with an ebullient dance performance.

The Independence Day Celebration(classes VI –XII) commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the principal of the School .It was followed by rendition of National Anthem. The melodious enthusiasts of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth rejoiced National pride by singing patriotic song and qawwali  .The students saluted the supreme sacrifices of the freedom fighters through fervent poems. The Head Girl of the school delivered a thought provoking speech rendering the message of liberating our nation from the manacles of social evils. The talented dancers of the school memorialized the journey of Independence and vehemently commemorated the years of pain endured by the freedom fighters. The Principal proffered the strong message of being the responsible citizens of the nation. Through the spectrum of events, the young patriots of Aadharsila Vidyapeeth perpetuated the message of preserving golden glory of India and feeling proud to be a part of ever shining India.Certificates were accorded to the students for their exuberant participation in the celebration.     

A Trip to Dalhousie and Khajiar

“Travel is more than seeing of sights: it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized a trip to Dalhousie and Khajiar from Friday, 1 June 2018 to Tuesday, 5 June 2018 for the students of classes VI-XII. Exuberant Aadharshilians began the journey on Friday, 1 June 2018 and had a gleeful time throughout the journey. On Saturday, 2 June 2018, euphoria of the students was illimitable as they were captivated by the serenity and equanimity of the place during local sight seeing. The students reaped the benefits of tranquility through a walk in the lap of pleasing nature at Gandhi Chowk, Subhash Chowk and local Church. On Sunday, 3 June 2018, ebullient Aadharshilians grabbed the opportunity of visiting Mall Road, Dalhousie and the Mini Suitzerland – Khajiar. They could feel the amicable and harmonious embrace of nature while horse riding and Zorbing in the paddock of Khajiar. On Monday, 4 June 2018, the enthusiastic Aadharshilians had delectation of trekking at Panchpula. Unperturbed ambience together with amusement heightened the exuberance of the students. It was on indelible experience for the young Aadharshilians which diarized Zest, exhilaration adventure and ecstasy to the most memorable moments of their lives.

Kudos- Class X (2017-18)

The students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth brought adulation to the alma mater by recording a marvelous Board Result (2017-2018).

100% result was accredited to Aadharshila Vidyapeeth with highest aggregate of 96.8% scored by Sayesha Gupta followed by 92.4% by IshaIpsita , 91% by Yatin Jain , 90.4 % by Yashika Goel ,90% by both Rupal Gupta and Deepika Wadhwa.

Young Aadharshilians evinced phenomenal academic proficiency and clinched highest score of 95 in English, 97 in Hindi, 98 in Mathematics, 99 in both Science and Social Science, 92 in Sanskrit and 95 in German.

The students were highly ecstatic and tipped hat to the school for shaping their personality and succouring them in procuring such a splendid board result.

PLAUDITS ! CLASS XII (2017-2018)

The students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura chronicled a top notch Board Result (2017-2018). Aadharshilians manifested astounding performance in various subjects with the highest aggregate of 98.8% (Mehak Goel) in commerce and 95.2% (Piyush Jain) in Science.

100 % result was credited to Aadharshila Vidyapeeth with 30.9% of Commerce and 26.3% of Science students scoring above 90% aggregate.

The students showed stupendous performance with highest subject wise score as : Mathematics 100, Economics 100, Business Studies 100, English 99, Accountancy 98, Information Practices 97, Physics 95, Chemistry 95, Biology 86.

The result diarized approbation to school’s records and proved competence of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth in succeeding towardsits goal of shaping the student’s personality.

The students felt highly beholden towards their alma mater for being a constant support towards their success.


The paramount raison d’etre of Education is to enrich a child’s life with ethos and morals. To foster love and tenderness in the ‘Blooming Buds’ of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, visits to an Old Age Home  were organized on 9 May 2018 , 10 May 2018 and 11 May 2018 for the tiny tots of classes Pre School, Pre Primary and I. Children offered the old people eatables and other things. The visit accorded first-hand experience to the students about loving and caring old aged people.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth provided a platform to the students to exhibit their skills in sports by organizing AadharshilaInter School Basketball Tournament, 2018 on 10 May 2018 and 11 May 2018. Basketball teams of various schools showed gusto and vivacity under 14 boys category. This tournament acted as a channel for the participants to showcase their dexerity in playing basketball. At the end of the tournament , winning teams were felicitated.


Sports is an important and integral part of the upbringing of youth. Promulgating the same credence , Aadharshila Vidyapeeth hosted Inter School Judo Tourament,2018 on 8 May 2018-

9 May 2018 wherein Judokas of different schools manifested diversified techniques of self defence under various weight categories.It taught the participants “ to pick themselves up no matter how hard they fall.” Participants showcased techniques like locking,grappling,striking etc.Young Judokas of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth competed under different weight categories and added feathers to the school’s cap by procuring  I, II and III position.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth observed Social Science Week from Monday, 7 May 2018 to Saturday, 12 May 2018 for classes III-XII. The week commenced with a Special Assembly on ‘Social Science- An Amalgamation of various Branches’ wherein students presented an edifying skit and accentuated the importance of variegated branches of Social Science in different domains of life.

Another Special Assembly on ‘Sepoy Mutiny’ was conducted wherein students declaimed their views on the significance and repercussions of First War of Indian Independence. Yet another Special Assembly ‘India’s Cultural Heritage’ delineated the message of ‘Unity Amongst Indians” despite multifarious languages, religions, traditions etc. Inter house Debate Competition on ‘GST- A Game Changer’& Inter House Tableau Making Competition on ‘Indian States’ prepended to the cognition of students. Social Science Week concluded with  Social Science Exhibition- Socio Vistas 2018 wherein the students manifested splendid models like ‘Thermal Energy’, ‘Waterfalls’, ‘Various Kinds of Courts’ , ‘Dams’, ‘Wind Energy’ and many more. The Chief Guest extolled the school for its efforts in bringing out the creative knack of the students. Parents also lifted up the spirit of the students by being a part of Socio Vistas 2018. This was a didactic and well planned week.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth organized AadharshilaInter School Kho-Kho Tournament,2018 on 3 May 2018- 4 May 2018 wherein girls and boys teams of various schools under 14  &under 17 categories demonstrated teamwork with ebullient performance. The teams competed with zest and zeal. The school premises was immersed in sportsmanship during the two days tournament. Tourmament concluded with the felicitation of winners.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organized Day Camp-‘Shimmer & Shine’ on Tuesday, 1 May 2018 for classes Pre School to VIII in the school premises. Students were endearingly received by the teachers. School was permeated in the ravishing atmosphere. Students relished hygienic breakfast and snacks. They had exhilarating delectation on Merry Go Round, Archery, Blindfold, Splash Pool and Dart games. They also roistered wall climbing activity.  Zorbing Ball was cynosure of the day .Winners in the games procured various prizes .Auditorium of the school had magical emanation as the students enjoyed various magical tricks. Students savoured lunch & ice cream. It was really a frabjous experience for the students.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organized picnic for the students of classes I-VIII to Mojoland Fun Park on Thursday 26 April 2018.The park offered water works and pool along with thrilling rides. The beautifully designed park was a treasure trove of fun for the studentsThe students frolicked in the water for hours on end and then headed for the rides.The meal too was fun!.

The students of classes IX-XII enjoyed a fun day at Jurassic Park on the same day.

They had fun at the water park and had thrills at the rides.They remained unwilling to leave the pool for long and relunctantly came out for lunch .The memories of the day shall remain for long to cherish.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura held the Aadharshila Inter School Volleyball Tournament,2018 on 24 and 25 April 2018 under the Sub-Junior and Junior Boys and Girls categories. The event saw an enthusiastic participation from many schools .The participating teams competed with panache and flamboyance. The deserving won trophies and medals for displaying excellence. Aadharshila Junior Boys team won the gold medals and the first position trophy.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura held the English Literary Week from 23 to 27 April 2018 for classes III-XII .Special Assemblies on Communication- A Key to Success, Language Skills and English- A Ubiquitous Language were held for the students. Inter House Radio Jockey (Classes VI-VIII) and Inter House Face to Face with a Celebrity (Classes IX-X) were the competitions held. Besides these Intra Class Recitation Competition (Class II), Inter House English Quiz (Classes III- V) and Inter House English Poem Recitation Competition (Class V) were also held during the week.

The week was a well organized one aiming at inculcating love for the language among students.



Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura hosted the Aadharshila Inter School Yoga Tournament, 2018 on Friday,20 April 2018 for both boys and girls . Under -8 upto Under-14 categories participants demonstrated felicity over various Yogasanas. It was a competition full of zeal and zest that propagated the importance of Yoga in today’s stressful era. The deserving students were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. The event aimed at promoting the healthy habit of practising yoga among children.


As a part of observing special days, Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organizes special assemblies.

On World Health Day  ,The students of classes III- V and VI-XII participated in special assemblies on 5 and 6 April 2018 respectively. The World Health theme -2018 which is “Universal Health Coverage Everyone, Everywhere.” was reflected in these assemblies.

A Special Assembly on Baisakhi was held on 12 April 2018 by the students of classes III- V wherein students recited the ‘Shabads’ from Guru Granth Sahib.

A Special Assembly on World Heritage Day was observed on 18 April 2018 by the students of classes  VI-XII . Besides these special assemblies were held during the English Literary Week observed between 23 and 27 April 2018.


The School commenced the new session 2018-19 by invoking the blessings of the Almighty through the auspicious flames of the Hawan ceremonies held on Monday, 9 April 2018(Classes VI-XII), Tuesday,10 April 2018(Classes II-V) and Monday,16 April 2018(Classes PS-I) . The chanting of the mantras reverberated in the whole school and spread a spirit of piety and peace. The school Principal guided the students to remain focussed towards their academics and co-curricular endeavours and wished them success in the session.
