District Level Proficiency

The Students of AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura competed in various cultural competitions at District Level,after having registered their thumping success at the Zonals.
Saksham Jain(class VII) competed in Extempore(English) and HardikGarg(class IX) in Extempore(Hindi) and bagged II and I Positions respectively.

Sanya Jain(class VII) bagged I Position in Slogan Writing(English),while Shivani Gupta(class XI) secured a III position in Vocal Music Classical(solo) competiton.The I position holders will now compete further at State Level.The School is proud of them.

Sporty Pursuits/Athletic Pursuits

Healthy mind,body and spirit are the real tools with which a student chalks out the destiny herself.What better way to get all three of these than through the pursuit of physical activities.Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura,held ‘Sports Week’ in the school between 16 and 21 November 2015.The students attended Special Assemblies on Importance of Sports in our lives, Olympics and the spirit of Sportsmanship.These Assemblies aimed at informing and inspiring the students towards sports and games.The Sports Day of class I,had some races viz. Flat race,Garland Race and Pack-your-bag race which the students enjoyed.The Sports Day of classes III-V,held on 20 November 2015 included lemon and spoon race,hurdles,Dressing-up,Skipping,Sack race,frog race,Pyramid race and Balancing race in which the winners were felicitated with medals an trophies.The Sports Day for the students of classes VI-X,held on 21 November was commenced with the lighting-up of the ceremonial torch by the School Principal.The Inter House Volleyball match for the students of VI-X saw Sankalp House bagging the First Position.Many races were held for Boys and Girls which had enthusiastic participation of all the athletes.The School upholds the adage ‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’ and keeps organising sports activities regularly.   


The students of AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura observed the World AIDS Day on 01 December,2015.Special Assemblies were organised for the students of classes VI-XI and III-V to inform and sensitize the students towards this disease.Students delivered speeches and poems and enacted a skit highlighting the preventive measures against AIDS that can be taken by common man.A Quiz was also conducted related to AIDS.The Catalyst Club(Science club) of the school coordinated and conducted the Special Assembly.


AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated the 67th Republic Day of the Indian democracy on 25 January 2016.The tricolour was hoisted by the School Principal in a glittering ceremony alive with the spirit of patriotism.The school resounded with the chants of ‘Jai Hind’ when the students of classes III-XII expressed their love for India together.The Parade was followed by renedition of a patriotic song,dance,speeches and recitations.The skit ‘SarfaroshikiTamanna’ was inspiring in its message.The Ballad ‘My dream India’ was beautiful and mesmerising in its theme and presentation. The speech by Principal Sir was inspiring.The ceremony was drenched in the spirit of brotherhood and pride in our heritage and values.

Happiness and Hurrah!

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised picnics for the students of Pre-Primary to class X to enjoy the spirit of the season. The students of classes Pre-Primary to V were taken to Chokhi Dhani, Sonepat on Friday,12 February 2016 where they enjoyed the rustic charm of Indian heritage and hospitality. Snake-charmer, balloon-shooting, camel rides, potters-wheel and dhol beats and dancing were some of the things students enjoyed. There was a beeline of participants at the head-massage venues. All enjoyed a traditional Rajasthani’ meal to their heart’s fill.

The students of classes VI-X were taken to Delhi Eco Village and Adventure(DEVA) on Saturday,13 February 2016.The students enjoyed adventures on Flying fox,Burma-bridge,Block-bridge,zip-line,rope-bridge,commando-net,tyre-net,zorbing,trampoline,shooting,darting along with tractor and camel rides, dancing on music and pottery. The thrill that the students experienced was palpable in their excited faces. Breakfast and lunch were served at intervals enjoyed by all.

The School holds the motto that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and that outdoors are an essential source of learning.    


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised its Annual Open Painting Competition-2015 in the school premise on 25 December 2015.This competition is held each year to celebrate the birthday of our former-prime minister Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji. The School was resplendent with balloons and decorations marking the spirit of Yuletide. The event is conducted for two groups of students; Group A is for students of classes II to V and Group B is for VI to X students. The students spread their thoughts and creativity beautifully on the drawing sheets and filled them with colours of their choice. Some of the expressions on women empowerment and girl child, our soldiers-our saviours and conservation of environment were very touching and thought provoking. Prizes were given away in each of the categories which included I,II,III and many consolations. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth wishes all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.   

Celebrating Rashtrabhasha ‘Hindi’

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated ‘Hindi Week’ from 25 to 30 January 2016.Special Assemblies on ‘BhaktiKaleen Kavi’(classes III-V),’Jeevan mein Haasya ka mahattva’ and ‘Anekta mein Ekta’(classes VI-XII) were organised which inspired the students to value Hindi as a link-language of the nation.Interhouse ‘Haasya Kavita Pratiyogita’(III-V) and Interhouse Patriotic Poem Recitation Competition(VI-X) were well participated by the students.Various other activities organised during the week were Slogan writing on ‘Hindi Bhaasha ka Mahattva’,Badhaai Patra Lekhan,Card-making,Collagemaking,Saraswati Vandana and ‘Vigyaapan Nirmaan’ in which the students participated whole-heartedly and enthusiastically.The creative and wide use of Hindi in all these activities was heart-warming and sparked the faith that our national language is alive and kicking

Workshop on Financial Literacy

AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura organised a Workshop on ‘Financial Literacy’ for the students of classes VIII-X on 20 November 2015.The resource persons touched upon the aspects of Finance viz. Budgeting,Expenditure,BankDeposites,Stock Markets to name just a few.Videos and presentations explained the concepts of Finance,Investment and Banking indepth.The students were also provided with study material and test papers for preparation for NCFE-NFLAT Exams.The Workshop was an enriching experience for the students.


AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura bid farewell to the batch of 2015-16 in a ceremony that was a sweet sorrow on Saturday,23 January 2016.The class XII students looked gentlemen  and ladies attired in formal suits and sareesrespectively.The students arrived in an upbeat mood and were welcomed with the ceremonial tilak and good luck cards.The ceremony organised and conducted by the students of class XI was a well coordinated one with many cultural presentations,games,catwalk and competiitons for Mr. and Miss Aadharshila 2015-16.The outgoing students also staged cultural and musical presentations which were touching.The ceremony was followed by lunch during which the students mingled with their teachers of the yore and reminicised about the times gone by.It was then followed by photo sessions.Parting was an emotional moment with both the teachers and the students wishing that may this day never end.


AadharshilaVidyapeeth, Pitampura celebrated the joys of aesthetics and beauty in the ‘Creation Week’ celebrated between 01 and 06 February 2016, Special Assemblies were held on various themes viz. Art and its importance, Best out of waste, Art a way of life. Many Inter House Competitions were held in which the students participated whole heartedly. InterhouseFlower Arrangement (III-V), Interhouse Tattoo Art Competition (IX-X) and Madhubani Painting Competition (VI-X) displayed the talent and creativity of young learners. The other artworks of the students, prepared during thesession, were displayed in a vibrant Art Exhibition- ‘Expressions 2015-16’ held on 22 & 23 January 2016. The art exhibition was attended and appreciated by parents enthusiastically.

Constitution Day Celebrated

AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated the Constitution Day in the school on 20 November 2015 with various activities to create an awareness among students about the Constitution of India.A special morning Assembly was conducted for the students that aimed at informing the students about the ‘Preamble’,’Fundamental Rights of citizens’ and the Right to Education Act.The students were also informed about their duties and responsibilities as citizens of India.

A poster making competition was also held on the same day for the students of classes VI-VII on the theme ‘Messages contained in Preamble of the Indian Constitution.’ Students created beautiful posters with enlightening messages for the citizens of India.This endeavour by CBSE to celebrate the Constitution Day was an exercise to shape the future citizens of India and guide them on the right track.


AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura organised its Annual Inter-Club Competition ‘Club Explora-2015-16’ on Saturday,20 February 2016.This is an event that is eagerly awaited by the students of classes VI-X each year as it affords them the opportunity to showcase all they have done in the academic year in their respective clubs.The activities and achievements of each of the clubs were displayed on the respective Club Boards for all to admire.The competition was fierce and the Istposition was bagged by the Creation Club,2nd by Lit.Worms Club(English Literary Club) and the 3rd by the Convergence Club(Math Club).A lot of thought and effort was put in by the club students and their mentor teachers in the displays.  


AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura organized a one day intensive – training workshop for teachers on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation(CCE) on Wednesday, 20 May 2015. The resource person Dr. Bindu Khosla has a vast experience of conducting workshops on CCE and handled the various aspects of workshop well. A well prepared information booklet, various handouts , power-point presentations on CCE , group and individual activities, anecdotes and narratives were used to highlight the true essence of CCE and enlighten the teachers about the finer aspects of CCE. Dr. Bindu adeptly handled all the queries of the teachers. All felt enriched and motivated after the workshop. The attending teachers also received a certificate of attendance.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised its arts and craft Exhibition-‘Expressions-2015” on 22 and 23 January 2016 in the school premise. The Exhibition was unique in the sense that the displays were spread across the school at various venues. It showcased the students’ creativity with a set of varied and unlikely materials viz. newspapers, wire, beads, leaves, ice-cream sticks,old CDs,disposable glasses,straws and what not.Beautiful badges,envelops,keychains were lapped up by the visitors to the Exhibition and their remarks on the feedback board were a reward in itself.The enthusiasm of the students was infections as they spread the good cheer around.

Felicitation of Merit

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura held a Felicitation Ceremony for the outstanding students of classes III-X for session 2015-16 on Friday,19 February 2016.The students were felicitated for their achievements in cultural and sports fields.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, Department of History, Delhi University graced the occasion and gave away the trophies and letters of commendation to the deserving students. The awards were given in the categories of best writer, ovator (both English and Hindi), best actor, singer, dancer, quizzer, techno-savvy, sportsperson. Best Students of the year were also selected housewise and awarded. The trophy for the Best House of the year was awarded to Tapasya House. This is the second consecutive year when Tapasya House has bagged the coveted trophy.  


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organised a Night Camp in the School for the students of classes III-X on 16-17 December 2015.The cheerful students arrived at school at around 4:00pm and were welcomed in a traditional manner with tilak.All the students then enjoyed evening supper and then participated in Talent Show, games at the stalls, Housie and musical chairs.DJ party was the next event that gave the students a chance to shake a leg and show their moves to the cheering of their classmates and teachers.The students retired to their allotted rooms after an enjoyable dinner followed by bonfire and some more dancing at the Dhol-beats enjoying “moongphali-rewaris”. Morning saw an aerobics session followed by milk and snacks. Another installment of Talent Show was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The students then indulged in some ethnic games. The students then enjoyed a hearty brunch. The school provided photographs that were taken at the photo-booth specially prepared for the night-camp. These souveniers were a collage of memories of the fun-time spent with friends. The students departed post noon on 17 December 2015 thanking their teachers for having provided them avenues for fun and frolic.

InterSchool Fest-Melange 2015

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura hosted its annual InterSchool Fest-Melange 2015 on 18 and 19 December 2015.Many schools participated in various competitions interspersed on two days. Various cultural and literary competitions saw enthusiastic participation from more than five hundred students who put up a cut-throat competition. Some of the competitions held were fusion dance, folk song singing, haasya-kavita pratiyogita, English Debate and interview staging, Math and Science Quizes and Multimedia Flash and Adobe Photoshop. It was a pleasure to see young and vibrant faces anticipating the results. It was a confluence of many minds and exchange of many ideas.

A Window for Talent

AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura organised its Annual Show-Jharokha-2015 on Saturday,17 October 2015 in the School Auditorium.The Chief Guest for the show was Shri Jayant Sinhaji,Minister of State for Finance.The show commenced with a serene,classical based Invocation Dance.A beautiful reneditionof a Rajasthani Folk song ‘Mitti Ki Mehak’ was followed by English Play and the Yoga routine ‘VyayamManika’.The audience delightfully watched ‘RamayanPrasang’,the Hindi Play ‘BholaramKaBhataktaJeev’ and the musical ballad ‘Shakuntalam’.A choreographed mime presentation ‘Navras’ was appreciated by all.The students put their best foot forward on the stage after weeks of rigorous rehearsals. The Chief Guestemphasizedupon the role of struggle,wisdom and passion in polishing an individual for success.It was an opulent show that will be cherished by all those who worked to make the vision a reality.

Passionate Performances

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organized its Annual Show ‘Navrang-2015’ on Friday, 16 October 2015 with much panache. The students confidently presented the items on the stage which included Invocation Dance, skit on Gautam Buddha, Jo Fit-Woh Hit-exercise and yoga routine, Natkhat Krishna Leelayen and a choir presentation on cleanliness drive. The English Play ‘Stuart Little’ was appreciated by all. The chief guest of the evening was Shri Surendra Sharmaji. The popular humorist and poet delivered a touching speech commanding huge ovation from the parent community. Shri Surender Sharmaji applauded the efforts of the School towards nurturing talent and imparting good values to the students.


AadharshilaVidyapeeth organized its Annual Show ‘Anugoonj 2015’ on Thursday 01 October 2015 with the students of classes Pre-Primary,I and II mesmerizing the audience with their poise and confidence.The presentations comprised of Invocation dance ‘PaawanVandana’,followed by Patriotic dance ‘Walk of Gratitude’,an item on Cleanliness Drive ‘EkKadamHumaaraBhi’,Aerobics,Circus-‘Jiggly-Wiggly’ and a skit on Tales of Akbar-Birbal ‘The Strange Sticks’. The audience was touched by a beautiful presentation ‘The Miracle’ which outlined the journey of a blind-deaf and mute girl towards empowerment. The Chief Guest of the show Shri Ram NiwasGoeljiappreciated the grace and confidence of the students and commended the efforts of the teachers who prepared them.

Special Assemblies Celebrated-October 2015

AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura organised many Special Assemblies for the students to create an awareness among them with respect to various events and happenings.A Special Assembly was organised on 01 October 2015 to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti.The students of classes III-V delivered speeches,recited poems and sang ‘Bapu’s’ favourite song ‘RaghupatiRaaghavRaaja Ram…’ to commemorate this day.

Special Assemblies on Air Force Day were held on 5 and 6 October 2015 for students of VI-XII and III-V respectively.History of Indian Air Force and its mission were the main features of the presentations made in these Special Assemblies.The role of the Indian Air Force in safeguarding the sovereignty of India and the various humanitarian works carried out by the Force were highlighted.

A Special Assembly on ‘Dusshera’ was observed by students of class II on 19 October 2015 and by VI-XII on 21 October 2015.These assemblies focussed upon the episodes of ‘Ramayan’ enacted out by students,a speech on the philosophical and devotional aspects of Lord Rama’s tale and the singing of a few ‘dohas’ and ‘chaupais’.These special assemblies aim at imbibing the value of our rich cultural heritage amongst the youngsters.

Trip to Jaipur

Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura organized a trip to Jaipur for the students of classes VI-XII on 20-21 October 2015.The students and accompanying teachers left for Jaipur early in the morning of 20 October.They visited Amer Fort en route where they saw the vista of the Pink City in all its glory.The group went to Chokhi Dhani,the exotic-heritage resort and enjoyed the various activities and traditional Rajasthani meal there.The next day the group went for local sight-seeing and visited Birla Mandir,Albert Museum and Jantar Mantar.The group commenced their return journey in the evening and reached Delhi at around 11:15 pm.It was a trip which satiated the wanderlust and spirit of tourism of the students.

Vigilance Awareness Week

AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampura celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week from 26 to 31 October 2015.A Special Assembly on ‘Preventive Vigilance as a tool of good governance’ was held on 30.10.2015 with the students of VI-XII.The citizens’ need to be vigilant was stressed upon.The issue of corruption and common-man’s role in uprooting it was also discussed.Various activities viz. slogan writing on ‘Preventive Vigilance’,Poster making on ‘Transparency-an antidote to Corruption’ and Essay Writing on SardarVallabh Bhai Patel were organised for students of classes VI-X.The Vigilance Awareness Week proved to be informative for the students.


The students of Aadharshila Vidyapeeth,Pitampura recorded a thumping success story in XII Boards 2014-15 results. The glory of 100% result was further sweetened with a bull’s eye score in Chemistry attained by Kavya Mitra. Highest score of 96%  in Physics was achieved by Gunjar Ahuja,96% in Mathematics by Sarah Singhal,92% in Biology by Aastha Suri and 99% in Informatics Practices  by Samyak Jain. The Commerce Stream saw a highest of 97% in Accountancy by Nishit Bansal and 96% in Business Studies by Arvind Jain. Dipanshu Mittal scored 96% in Economics. The School topper in Science Stream is Samyak Jain with 96.4% aggregate while Ashima Aggarwal topped in Commerce Stream in School with 92.6%. The overall School result is as-

73.2% students in English,72.0% students in Chemistry,52.0% in Physics,39.5% in Mathematics,33.3% in Biology,48.4% in Accountancy,25.6% Economics,32.3% in Business Studies and 53.6% in Informatics Practices  .

The assiduous Aadharshilians are scripting success stories year after year adding feathers to the cap of their alma mater to the joy of all. The school wishes its outgoing students great glories in all of their chosen fields. 

Young Judokas make their mark

Students of AadharshilaVidyapeeth,Pitampuraparticipated in the CBSE North Zone-I Judo Championship-2015-16 held in Jammu between 6 and 9 October 2015. The Aadharshilians participated in the U-12,U-14,U-16 and U-19 Boys and Girls categories. The school won one gold and one silver along with 08 Bronze medals in various categories.BryanGautam,Class VI and Aryan Gautam Class VIII bagged gold and silver respectively in their categories and have qualified to play at the Nationals.The school is proud to have such talented students,ready to give their all for sports.


Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura organized Day camps for students of Classes PP-I and II on 24and 25 April 2015 respectively within the school premises. The students enjoyed a plethora of fun filled activities viz. Bouncy, Ball Pool, Caterpillar Ride and Games. “Chota Bheem” kept them enthralled. A dip in the Splash Pool was a welcome break from all the activity. There was a magic show and a movie show ‘Doraemon’. The students collected a lot of memories and memorabilia from these Day camps.
