As someone rightly said festivities and happy times should never cease. One such opportunities came wherein the untapped genius of the students was showcased. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth presented ‘Aarohan -An Array Of Jubilation’ for students of class IX , XI and VIII in the school auditorium on Thursday 7th November 2019. A hearty welcome was awarded to the guest of honour Vikas Kumar Ji professor in Kathak Dance,a holder of Guinness Book Of World Records for taking 120 spins in 1 minute, Ms. Sweta Singh who is an academician and a performer on stage and the owner of an institute of performing arts and Ms. Jasbir Kaur a self-taught Gurbani Scholar and Researcher and Scientist. The program took off to a colourful start with invoking the ‘lambodara’ the Vighnaharta Ganesha and it lent ethos to each soul. Nature is a loving mother but her children sacrilege her very being and threaten her existence. Unassuming the wrongs of Human beings have led to a plea by nature. Environment was the theme of the entire program. All the events were thought-provoking and charm the audience. The theme unfolded in a subtle manner and the audience was kept on tender-hooks awaiting serious themes one by one especially the show stealer on Ban Plastic. Plastic needs to be shunned by one and all. Trees our saviours were focused on a dance musical. Humans if they don’t stop in-human activities would face Shiva’s Ire…Tandav- a dance performance -a theme dance on conservation and preservation on nature. It was icing on the cake. It was an appreciation by the guest of honour. Vikash Kumar Ji gave a live –demonstration of kathak spins in a row. Ms. Jasbir Kaur rendered beautiful lines on Gurbani and won everyone’s heart with her holy presence.
