Green School Drive was organized in the School on 6th September’ 2019. The students took out a rally with slogans promoting planting of trees and inducing the importance of greenery and plants for our environment.
To keep the environment clean and green, planting trees is one part but waste management is equally important. For that, blue, red, and green dustbins were arranged in the school premises to inculcate amongst students, the habit of managing the waste properly.
Students were explained that the red coloured dustbin is for hazardous wastes, green for dry wastes and blue for wet wastes.
Overall, this drive was beneficial for students as it sensitised them about the environment.
