“Ignite your Dancing Flames”“Dancing is creating a sculpture that is visible only for a moment”.Dance competition in Aadharshila Vidyapeeth is not just about the trophies – it is a highly rewarding and worthwhile activity for students of all ages. “Irrespective of whether the student aims to be an artist in future or not” – a dance competition can help to develop various fundamental skills in a child that will be useful in the long term. Aadharshila Vidyapeeth conducted ‘Ek Sath Lay Mein’-Folk Dance competition for classes VI-VIII and ‘Ignite Your Dancing Flames’-Semi Classical Dance competition for classes IX-X on 11.10.2021 and 12.10.2021 respectively. The competition provided the children an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. Students were judged on the parameters like Costume, Expressions, Variation, Usage of props (according to the theme), and Choreography. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performance and there was neck to neck competition among the participants. It was heart-warming to see amazing performances which indeed was a result of hours of practice. It was a splendid opportunity and an enriching experience for all the participants.
