Aadharshila Vidyapeeth has always initiated certain workshops to make the students aware of certain Child Rights. POCSO(Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) had conducted a workshop in Aadharshila Vidyapeeth on 4th April 2019 for classes VI-XI.
The spokesperson highlighted the difference between ‘good touch’ and ‘bad touch’. She talked about and identified ‘danger points’ for the children when they can be targeted. The girls and boys answered the questions asked from them by the spokesperson and clarified their doubts. Danger can be lurking around anywhere but if the children voice their opinions and take a strong stand rather than being vulnerable, then the accused can be booked.
Overall the interactive session was definitely an inspiring one for all, both students and staff.
