To commemorate the initiative taken by the freedom fighters of India, AadharshilaVidyapeeth, Pitampura organized a Fancy Dress Competition on the theme “National Heroes’ of India” on August 5,2021 for classes Pre-School & Pre-Primary to ensure that students imbibe qualities of famous personalities who have left an indelible mark on generations to come. It was a delight from start to finish with children, in an array of glittering costumes including that of Jhansi Rani Lakshmibai, Mangal Pandey, Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, SardarVallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru and Sarojini Naidu, mouthing famous dialogues and slogans, leaving the audience enthralled. The competition made children aware of contributions to our world by these esteemed personalities. This fancy dress competition taught children the importance of our freedom and also enhanced their knowledge about our golden history and freedom struggle. It was a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as freedom fighters also it was overwhelming to see our little ones speaking confidently about the character they were depicting. All the performances were admired as it arouses the feeling of patriotism among the little ones and allows them to live their fantasies by dressing up and acting like their favourite characters. It was a celebration dedicated to the freedom of our beloved motherland.
