Special Assembly was conducted on Friday 1st November 2019 for classes VI-XII on the genetic disorder known worldwide as thalassemia. In today’s day, a simple blood test is required for finding out about Thalassemia minor because the children who inherit it from their parents are not so common. But we need to guard against it anyway.
The teacher speaker came down to the level of the children to make them understand the consequences of this deadly disease. Blood transfusion is one of the methods of tackling this genetic disorder.
A quiz was organized for the different houses and the results of the Rangoli Competition, plus other Diwali related activities were announced.
